As global warming creates unprecedented climate changes, coupled with lack of continued electricity in multiple parts of India, Habitat for Humanity’s solar intervention creates an opportunity for homes to receive electricity that is also environmentally efficient.

Covering stories across geographies, communities, villages and schools, our focus was to bring out the way a basic commodity like electricity was able to bring in subtle, yet significant lifestyle improvements – a better learning environment for children at school, respite for senior citizens at home, better sleep for families thereby leading to more sustained energy through the day and other such qualitative changes.
